Hello!  My name is Julie Ward, though I usually just go by Jules.  This is my very first year at Purl, but boy, am I excited to be a Puma! I have three dogs at home, Lexie, Bayleigh, and Portia, and we all love to spend our mornings sitting on the front porch.
My Childhood!
I was born and raised right down the road, in Florence. I have deep roots in the Florence and Georgetown communities and still live in Florence today! I have always known that I would want to make a career out of helping others, so here I am!

My Education!
I attended Temple College, where I earned my AA in Biology . I graduated in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor society and earned Vice President’s honors. I also achieved my EMT at Temple College. I am a nationally registered and state registered EMT .I have spent the last few years working 911 on an ambulance . I also took 3 semesters of nursing school at Temple College. After all of this, I decided to go back to school again, and am looking forward to being a biology teacher some day!
