2 Where most people live People live in the southern part of Canada because the climate is warmer in the southern part of Canada than in the northern part of Canada. There are also more natural resources in the southern part of Canada then the northern parts.

4 Environmental Issue An environmental issue in Canada is clear cutting and deforestation. The cause of deforestation is when people cut too many trees down. The effect of deforestation is animals can lose their homes. A solution is to only cut huge trees but don’t cut more than 7 huge trees a week.

5 languages in Canada they speak French and English because around 1500, explorers from England and France arrived in Canada during the 15th century. The English established newfoundland and the French called their settlement new France.

6 Pro’s and con’s Pro: Quebec can become their own strictly French country. Quebec will be independent from Canadian laws. Con: Quebec will only teach its children French. Quebec will need to depend on other countries for crops.

7 Government Canadian’s participate in the government by voting. People can also participate in the government by paying taxes. Canada’s government is constitutional monarchy, federal and democracy.

10 Economy Canada is mixed with command and market but is more market. Canada Is also similar to the U.S. so that why its towards the 30 yard line on the right.

11 NAFTA NAFTA is important for Canada because it generates jobs, and trade with its other two trade partners has generated billion. NAFTA stands for the North American Free Trade Agreement, and its partners are the united States, Canada and Mexico.
