4. Logging in to the Destiny program
You can access the catalog for print resources as a guest, but to access the databases, you must log in
How to Log in: On the Destiny Login page, type in the same username and password you use to login to any CNUSD computer

Click on the Catalog button, type your topic in the Find box, and click on Keyword

8. Using One Search to find database resources
Change Material Type to Any type
Type the topic in the Find box, and click on Keyword

9. Next, click on the One Search button.

10. To view resources from all the available databases, click on the Get Results button.

There are two ways you can access Universal Search

Go to the Catalog tab
From the menu in the left column click on Universal Search

Go to the website
On the website you’ll see a Location box.
Type in California
In the box that says Schools in California, you’ll find a drop-down menu.
Choose Roosevelt High School Corona, CA
Click on Go

Universal Search provides you with assistance in writing bibliographies for the materials you cite from Destiny databases
The program used to help with bibliographies is EasyBib
You can select MLA, APA, or Chicago style formats

You can use the Destiny program to find out if a particular title is available in e-book format in the Mustang Library

26. In the Catalog tab, type in the title of the book you are searching
For Material Type, select Electronic Book.
Click on Title

27. If the title is in the collection, it will appear on the screen, along with an indicator about whether or not it is currently available.
This symbol indicates the title is an eBook
This indicator tells you the title is currently available.

28. Destiny’s Resource Center
On the Destiny Home Page, click on the Help button in the upper right corner

This will take you to a Help Search button
and a selection of tutorial videos.
