2 What do you have to do to become a Registered Dietitian?
Complete a bachelor’s degree through an ACEND accredited program. Get matched to an ACEND accredited dietetic internship OR to a dietetic internship with a combined master’s degree. Pass the dietetic registration exam. Gain licensure in your state of practice. Maintain continuing education.

4 Membership Annual membership Dues are $15 Benefits:
Free food at every meeting (every other 7pm) Connections to volunteer in the Bloomington/Normal area Connections with guest speakers We will pay for specific events related to food & nutrition Resume builder Interested? Talk to me or

5 Connections Volunteer opportunities
MWFB, Fresh FAVs, Sports Nutrition, Rec activities, CMFK, etc. Social opportunities Exercise classes, study groups, social interaction at meetings, movie nights, etc. Professional opportunities FNCE expo, professional development dinner, guest speakers during and outside of the meetings, etc. Mentor program Upperclassmen match with an underclassmen or transfers for the year

6 Recognition & Advice Friendly competition
Cook off, running for executive positions each year, & volunteer for as much as possible Join as many RSO’s related to Food & Nutrition as possible Diabetes club, sports nutrition, chemistry club, Food Recovery Network, etc. Work in food service Attend events with professionals to network Connections are everything
