What is the purpose of your argument? To win? To convince others? To explore an issue? Is the point you want to make arguable? Have you formulated a strong working thesis that includes a clear claim and good reasons? Have you considered your audience in shaping your appeals? How have you established your own credibility in the argument? How have you incorporated logical and emotional appeals into your argument? If you use visuals, do they help make your argument convincing? Are your sources credible? How effectively are they integrated into your argument? How is your argument organized?
