4 British Army and colonists continue to lose battles for forts on the
waterways of North America. Then the tide begins to turn. Fort Niagara-Lake Ontario Fort William Henry-Lake George Fort Oswego-Lake Ontario Fort Carillon / Ticonderoga-Lake Champlain

5 Fort Pitt-William Pitt takes over the war effort for Britain.
He sends better commanders and more supplies to North America. When the British finally take Ft. Duquesne they rename it Ft. Pitt.

6 Battle for Quebec-final major battle

7 Results: British claim all land east of the Mississippi River
1. British have a lot of soldiers that they leave in the colonies 2. The war was expensive, Britain will tax the colonists to help pay for the war
