If the British are kicked out of the area, the Virginians would lose a ton of money If the French are allowed to run roughshod, they will become empowered and take more land Dinwiddie dispatches Colonel George Washington of the Virginia Militia to deliver and ultimatum to the French, which is rejected.

10 Britain’s Actions George Washington returns with his troops and some native American Reinforcements and surprise the French on May 28. Most of the French are slaughtered, some in a very gruesome way by the Natives Fall Back and established Fort Necessity, where Washington was forced to surrender to the French after another bloody skirmish

11 The War and its Outcome British and French go back and forth winning battles Eventually the French are overcome by an overwhelming amount of British and colonial troops. War ends with the conquering of Quebec and the isolation of the remainder of the French Army The French, as a result of the Treaty of Paris, gained all of France’s lands in the mainland of North America.
