Distributions of DOT levels for CE and CE+FCE conditions. Physicians occasionally decreased, but more often increased, Veterans' DOT levels based on the additional FCE information. The total numbers of physician-determined DOT levels based on CE- and CE+FCE data are the same (N = 54). DOT = Dictionary of Occupational Titles (physical capacity level); CE = Physician's clinical evaluation; FCE = functional capacity evaluation.
