NEVER BEFORE… …has our Colorado communities needed the Knights of Columbus more… …we, as Knights, may be one of the few examples of service to others, patriotism, respect of family, unity, the living of Christian standards and gentlemanly conduct to whom many in our society are ever exposed. Our Society Needs More Knights of Columbus ….KNIGHTS FOR CHRIST. We need to strengthen our ranks of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus, the visible arm of the Order, so that we can better serve others.

26 4th Degree Organizational Meeting
Who is a Knight? They come from all walks of life with a common denominator: they strive to be gentlemen in their homes & community and they live by the standards taught by Jesus Christ Knights serve as an example to our church, community, families and strangers Infusing society with more Knights leading by example of our Catholicity, the greater increase in goodness in the world today

27 4th Degree Organizational Meeting
If you see a Catholic gentleman & he is not a Knight, invite him to join the Order and once a Knight, invite him to progress through the degrees, culminating in the 4th degree. As our Fourth Degree grows ~ more 1st Degree Knights join. As the Fourth Degree grows ~ more civic and patriotic programs are introduced to our schools, parishes and neighborhoods.

28 4th Degree Biennial Meeting
As the Fourth Degree grows~ we introduce respect, tradition, etiquette, and faith to those around us. As the Fourth Degree grows~ we help to make the world a better place. Rejuvenation and Growth When meeting attendance increases, activity & event participation increases leading to invitations to join the Order

29 4th Degree Biennial Meeting
Reasons for poor attendance: Meeting needs to be streamlined Perhaps printed agendas or handouts Topics for meeting provided ahead of time More guest speakers-spiritual growth, fraternization Assembly should ask themselves what would entice more Knights to attend? Pre-sent agenda Ensure a report of the 3rd degree at meeting

30 4th Degree Biennial Meeting
