2 We can split asana into 3 main windows + some helpful tabs on top
To the left we have a panel with all Teams and Projects you are a member of To the right you can see all details of selected task as: due date, description, comments, attached files etc. In the middle you can see a list (or board) with all tasks within the project (or „My Tasks” tab) On the top you can see a bar with „My Tasks” „Inbox” „Dashboard” a search bar, help button, and your profile settings

3 „My Tasks” tab – Here you have an overview of all tasks assigned to you
There are couple of ways to create new task: 1. Click on an orange „+” 2. Click on „Add Task” 3. Press enter while editing name of existing task You can also make sections: 1. Click on „Add Section” which appears when you move your mouse next to „Add Task” 2. Create a task and end it with colon „:”

4 Viewing tasks list in specific project is very similar to viewing them in “My Tasks” window

5 Adding all needed information to a task
By clicking here you can add subtasks to your task Subtasks are regular tasks inside another tasks, they can be assigned to someone, have a due date etc. To see the details of subtask click on the speech bubble icon HERE By clicking here you can assign the task to someone or yourself By clicking here you can add a due date Heart icon is just the same as for ex. Facebook’s „Like” By clicking here you can add tags to your task so it will be easier to find via search bar By clicking here you can attach files to the task (PDF’s, JPEG’s etc.) Here are some advanced options, like copying task, deleting task etc. If you created the task from „My Tasks” window clicking here let’s you add the task to a specific project Here is the comment section, you can write your thoughts or updates on the task Here you can add followers to the task, they will recieve notifications about activities in this task like: new comments, change of due date etc. If you want to be able to see what’s going on in the task but you don’t want to receive notifications to your inbox press on this bell icon

6 Inbox: Inbox is a place where you recieve all notifications about projects / tasks you’re following If you have new notifications in your inbox there will be an indication of it: An orange dot next to „Inbox” in the top left as well as in your web browser tab You can archive notifications that you read and don’t need to see anymore by pressing „X” to the right of the notification All archived notifications will be stored in the „Archive” you can also bring them back to Inbox if you want

8 Communication in Asana
There are a few ways to communicate in Asana: 1. Team and Project „Conversations” Tab 2. Comment section in tasks

9 Some usefull features for you to use:
3. When taking days off don’t forget to indicate that to others using Asana, you can do it by setting your status as Away in your profile settings 1. When creating a project you can choose it’s layout List or Board 2. When deleting task you can choose to delete it permanently or leave it in a bin so it’s recoverable To access deleted items and recover them go into „Deleted Items”

10 Calendar view in Teams and Projects
To acces calendar view in teams click „Team Calendar” on the left panel To acces Project calendar view click „Calendar” under the Project name on the middle panel

11 Ticketing system and indaWiki!
We have a ticketing system for our emplyees so for example if you need anything ordered or have problems with your equipment you can send a ticket to the people responsible for resolving your issue. It’s located in TEAM ALL -> ! Ticketing system Select task that relates to your problem and enter the provided link (for exmaple IT HelpDesk Ticket) We also have indaWiki in which you can possibly find an answer for your question without asking anybody! It’s located in TEAM ALL -> #indaWiki!
