Indonesia has a birth rate of per 1000 people yearly with a death rate of per 1000 people yearly. Those two figures create a Natural Increase Rate (NIR) which is a increase of 1.0 %. All three figures effect what stage of the demographic transition model a country is in. Indonesia is in stage three, with decreased birth and death rates but increased Population. Stage three sows that a country has gone through the industrial revolution. As in Indonesia, it has large amounts of manufacturing.

8 Situation Factors Indonesia is relatively close to both major markets. The United States is across the Pacific Ocean and by boat, reached with minimal cost. Europe though, there is more travel but less distance. To europe a boat is the main transportation with train/road to final destination.

12 Social Stability Indonesia has a fairly stable government. No wars or political unrest. It’s form of government is a republic that holds free and open elections. After the age of 17 there is no restriction on who can vote.

13 Conclusion In conclusion, Indonesia is an excellent fit for the production of Fischer Skis. Its relative location to both large markets is Ideal but not perfect. The distance form both markets in expansive but not overly expensive. Inputs for a product are perfect due to the production of both mane inputs in Indonesia. With ample amounts of infrastructure for transportation, a large workforce, and low minim wage Indonesia is the perfect country for production.
