5 Cultural Influences American is the third largest country in the word and it have huge amount of foreigners immigrate to US through out the century. The result of the huge immigrants cause influences of different culture because of the food tradition they had bring to America. According to the article “What Food Tells Us About Culture” 1. “ The cuisine of the United States reflects its history. The European colonization of the Americas yielded the introduction of European ingredients and cooking styles to the U.S. Later in the 20th century, the influx of immigrants from many foreign nations developed a rich diversity in food preparation throughout the country.”

Apple Pie- Classic apple pie incorporated into the pie dough. Bundt Cake- A Cake from Midwest. Made in a bundt pan. Pecan Pie- A pie from The South. A sweet classic pie made with corn syrup and America pecan. Pineapple upside down cake- A cake from Hawaii, made with real pineapple. Bananas Foster- “A luscious, flambéed fruit and liqueur-laced dessert made famous in New Orleans.”
