3 A research based curriculum that aligns with NGSS.
What is IQWST?  A research based curriculum that aligns with NGSS. Covers each discipline: Physics, Chemistry, Life Science & Earth Science. Engages students in scientific practices as they experience, investigate and explain phenomena while learning core ideas of science. Builds understanding by connecting ideas across disciplines 6th – 8th grade.

4 Science Earth Science 3: How Is the Earth Changing? In this unit, students investigate plate tectonics by investigating how the Earth has changed in the past and continues to change today. Life Science 3: Why Do Organisms Look The Way They Do? This unit uses investigations of organisms (including people) to raise questions about how similarities and differences between individuals and populations are influenced by inheritance of traits. Physical Science 3: How Will It Move? This unit focuses on forces and motion in a variety of contexts: tug-of-war, baseball, planetary motion, chemical bonds, and others. Chemistry 3: How Does Food Provide My Body with Energy? This cross-disciplinary unit targets core ideas about food, photosynthesis and cellular respiration in the context of living systems All books in PDF can be accessed online through the IQWST student portal. Code is on Teacher’s syllabus and students have a printout.
