How it all started Semester 1 Semester 2 Semester 3
How my school works 3 Semesters in the school year 2 Progress Reports and 1 Final Report What I wanted 3 Major assessments at the conclusion of each semester The Escape Room idea leads nicely into having 3 assessments. One per trimester Project 1: A Project where students are able to navigate through varying canvases Project 2: A Project where students can build on their previous work and add additional interactions like clicking on objects Project 3: Creating solvable puzzles and enhancing the overall play experience of the escape Semester 2 Semester 3

One of my biggest desire was to have students work on a project cycle where they revisit and further develop their previous projects. Project 1: A Project where students are able to navigate through varying canvases Project 2: A Project where students can build on their previous work and add additional interactions like clicking on objects Project 3: Creating solvable puzzles and enhancing the overall play experience of the escape

2. Interesting Problems I encountered
I need to learn more about Game Design! Specifically Puzzle Design Encourage students to think outside the box.
18
2. Encouraging students to think outside the box
Most students think about numbers when they think about puzzles because they were exposed to numerical locks.

Additional Thoughts for collaboration
Physics/Engineering 3D printer Unity Short Story Physics/Engineering students: can attempt to create some of the escape room puzzles. Some of them will be challenging! 3D print the escape room as a highlight Use Unity and create a virtual world with interactive characters English students could create a narrative as the theme of the escape room Humanities students could take a real piece of history as write that as a narrative for the theme of escape rooms.
