Algebra I Course Guide
Algebra 1 starts with an investigation of the properties and attributes of functions. Students will be challenged by new concepts that require graphing skills, function analysis, solving equations and inequalities, and data analysis. The focus of study will be linear functions, quadratic functions, and exponential functions.
By the end of this course, you will
Use algebra to model real world situations
Use data in multiple representations and apply it to real life
Understand functional relationships; make predictions and draw conclusions from their exploration
Manipulate and solve equations
