2 Different Curriculums
The requirements of the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) curriculum set by the WA School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) are different to the national Australian Curriculum set by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA). Images sources -

Other depth studies from the AC can be included in individual teacher’s programs after mandated content has been taught

14 Reporting Requirements from 2017
Humanities and Social Sciences Civics and Citizenship; Economics and Business; Geography; History Schools will report one grade (A–E) as a minimum for Humanities and Social Sciences. Schools may choose to report to parents at a more detailed level, for example, Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business, Geography, History. 15 Implementation Timeline
Full implementation of HASS , including teaching, assessing and reporting by schools will be in place with first reporting to parents by the end of Semester 1, 2017
