This proposed IoT/IoL solution for Tugboats ship craft activities automatic control. This VAT to operate on the application services like ITS, ADAS, etc. on road condition. September 2018 Needs for Tugboat ship craft Automation Needs Tugboats typically move vessels that either are restricted in their ability to maneuver on their own, such as ships in a crowded harbor or a narrow canal, or those that cannot move by themselves, such as barges, disabled ships, log rafts, or oil platforms Organization of Tugboats activities at night time, misty weather and smoke is limited not only by the size and power range of tugboat, that should be choose for each transporting ship craft, but also by the angle of view from the tag boat, especially in case of pulling or maneuvering big size vehicle for docking. Docking and Control information need to verified between Tugboat and Water vehicle on support for accident free movements Presently managed by manual and RF based information sharing Basic Concept Propose the IoT/IoL technology solution for Tugboats Activities Automation Uses the Existing Lighting System and Tugboat and water vehicles built in with Camera / PD based receiver IoT/IoL technology solution create an opportunity to make coordination of activities of tugboats that work in pair as command with water vehicle on. 5 September 2018 Conclusion Proposed the Tugboats Activities Automation Solution using IoT/IoL Technology. Uses the Existing Lighting System on Tugboat, Water Vehicle & Port lights and Tugboat, Water Vehicle vehicles and Port built in with Camera / PD based receiver. IoL/IoL solution allows to instantly identify ship craft and its characteristics and receive accurate data for tugboats activities . Helps to simplify and secure existing docking and transportation activities and provides safety on work at night time and bad weather conditions. Slide 5 Submission
