View Online Study Center Video- Foundations: Performance Assessment: Student Presentations in a High School English Class. (Textbook Web site, Requires passkey that came with your new text)
Browse self-introductions (Ning) You may find a few classmates that would make good partners to work with on assignment 2.
Assignment 2 partner up (4 max) or go solo? There are four large assignments (projects) this semester (see syllabus). This week we will be starting assignment #2 (see below). I will give you the option of working in a group (up to 4 people) or doing it yourself. You may form new groups, modify existing groups or decide to work on this project on your own. Keep in mind that there are pros and cons to each.

Ala 'Ike Scenario - Each week you will be asked to view a scenario from Ala'ike School.  Following the scenario you will be asked to got to Ning and contribute a posting (part I.) and reflection (part II.) about the topic of the week. Forum- Part I. Weekly Discussion  Due Friday, Feb. 19th Forum- Part II.  Weekly Reflection  Due Tuesday, Feb. 23        Note: -Please note that the purpose of unit 2 (chapters 5-8) is to develop a technology learning unit. So just a tip, you may wish to pick a subject area/ topic and use the same one in the coming weeks (Culminating Performance, Guided Learning and Initiating Activity). -Postings are scored according to the following discussion rubric
