9 This is the introduction to the large task for the Sports Picnic module. Students were given information about the large task. This task required students to use tailored graphics software to create an invitation. In the live test, following this information screen, students viewed a brief video demonstration (creating using the same software application that has been used to produce this resource) of the large task software environment and key features of the task. The demonstration video for the students has not been included in this example module.

10 Questions 6-16: Trained scorers assessed each invitation according to nine criteria. The criteria assessed students' technical capacity to select relevant information from the resources and to reframe and communicate the information in the context of an invitation. Information literacy capacity was assessed according to the degree to which the information selected and included was relevant to the task and reframed to support the intention of the information product to inform and encourage people to attend. This task illustrates achievement at Level 4 on the ICT Literacy Proficiency Scale.
