2. Project CRADLE Care January 3rd Saturday annually
To provide prenatal and postnatal education (information) to women of child-bearing ages through partnering with doctors, hospitals, churches, malls and other agencies to sponsor a Health Fair or Health Symposium.
Focus-Education and Awareness
Rationale- To save babies’ lives. Many babies are born too soon each year with many life threatening challenges; to provide information and assist mothers in delivering their babies on time.

Program Ideas for:
Undergraduate chapters and smaller alumnae chapters
Invite doctors (OB/GYN, Pediatrician) or nurses to discuss prenatal issues and newborn issues with the mothers
Donate baby baskets
Host “Healthy Mom/Healthy Baby” fun facts game
Give March of Dimes materials at the baby shower

5. Project CRADLE Care- Health Symposium
Program Ideas:
Panel discussion with doctors (OB/GYN , Pediatrician), nurse, community resource representative, and daycare
Educational workshops for pregnant mothers
Educational workshops for fathers and extended family members
Relaxation sessions for pregnant mothers
