Waves propagate...they transfer energy from one place to another. This shows radio waves, but there are other kinds of transmitters and receivers.

**Don’t panic**
Some of what he is going to say sounds really complicated. If you’re into electronics it might be super interesting to you. Don’t worry about all the numbers and acronyms that he throws out...just focus on his explanation of the words ANALOG and DIGITAL.

This narrator is going to use a lot of words that you already know. Listen for terms like amplitude, frequency, sound waves, and electromagnetic waves.

By changing the amplitude or the frequency of a wave, the transmitter can send a “code” of ones and zeros that can be read by the receiver.
So which is “better”? Analog or Digital?
