3 Ruminant Animals They Have: 1 stomach 4 compartments
Have even amount of toes

4 Ruminant Animals Cattle Sheep Goats Deer Camels Giraffes Antelope

5 Ruminant Feed Corn Hay Grass Soybean Hulls Cotton Seed Silage
Distillers Grain

6 Chewing Cud Eat for about 6hrs a day. Chew their Cud for 8 hrs a day.
Drink about 30 gallons of water a day. Eat 100lbs of feed a day.

7 Cow Stomach

8 Rumen 1st division of the stomach. Largest of the 4 compartments.
Fermentation takes place. Holds 50 Gallon of digested food.

9 Reticulum 2nd of the 4 compartments Hardware compartment of stomach.
Collectes any metal objects the animal may eat.

10 Omasum 3rd of the 4 compartments. Smallest of the compartments.

11 Abomasum 4th compartment of the stomach. Digestion takes place here.

13 Fistulated Cow Facts 1st began because a man had a wound that would not heal. 1822 1st Fistulated cow was in 1833. Most usually tested on college farms or feed test stations.
