Our tutorial provides instructions for quoting your client using the Producer Portal When the client receives the quote they can begin the online application process via the Online Sales Channel Once the application is submitted the Producer Portal provides access to manage your Book of Business 24 hours a day

3 Once you’re registered you’ll have access to Express Link
This tool provides you with a personalized URL link to an online, individual BCBS(state) health quote When the client selects the URL you provide via , the application is pre-populated with your agent id number (producer #) Using this link ensures that you receive credit for your clients’ enrollment in individual health plans Additionally you have the ability to set up a link on your webpage which directs the customer to online quoting and applying assigning you as the agent Your agent info Your licensing # Your telephone # Your address Your info

7 You can send a quote from the Producer Portal
It contains your Express Link information Select “Quotes” tab then “Insurance Quote”

8 Enter demographic info – be sure to select the appropriate “county” from the dropdown list

You can select a specific plan by checking the box and including a dental option

10 Scroll to the bottom of the page and email to your client
Select “SEND QUOTE” and to your client state state

Enter a valid address and check mark the box to include a formal proposal letter

What’s Next?

45 Visit the Home Page of the Producer Portal to view E-apps Started, Submitted, Pending, Active & Terminated

46 If an application remains un-submitted an email is sent to the applicant & agent at:
7, 15, 30, and 60 days State

47 Once an application has been approved email notifications are sent to the client and agent

48 An email is sent for clients to view policy documents

49 Select the “View” hyperlink to view the Policy Kit
Electronic Policy Kits are viewable for the agent on all applications submitting using an address Select the “View” hyperlink to view the Policy Kit Any item contained in this list can be selected and viewed in Adobe PDF formatted and printed

50 Your client will receive a “Welcome” email
They can log into Blue Access for Members (BAM) using the same username and password set up during the online application State
