A quick review for those who are new to the school
Or for those of you who did not listen the other three times the process was explained. 

2. Step 1 – determining availability
First of all, you can do this from the IPAC terminals in the LMC OR at any computer! Know the title of the book you are going to request. Does it show that there are books available?

3. First, I entered my topic, title or subject

I click on the title.

Now, click on
Copies

6. Results…
I see that there is a book available at Madison Middle School, but it was not on the shelf.
I am going to request a copy from one of the high schools.

7. Step 2 – Submitting a Hold
Go back to the Library Search page
Click on
Log In
and enter your information

Click on
Catalog

9. Results…
Type in the title of the book you want.

10. Results…
Click on title of book – again!

11. Results…
No click on
Hold It!

12. Results… Typically, As Soon as Possible works.
NOT THIS TIME because we need the books for a longer period of time.

You should see this note that indicates your Hold was successful.
The title of the book: Death of a Dreamer, and the hold placement dates.
The LMC will notify your resource teacher when the book comes in.
