5. Grant Permission (Site Owner)
‘SHARE’ button
Type in people name or
Click ‘SHOW OPTION’
Select permission level or group
Click ‘Save’ button
Additional: SharePoint will not send an invitation if you uncheck ‘Send an invitation’, SharePoint group can choose only permission level.

Click ‘Gear’ button and select ‘Site settings’
Under ‘Users and Permissions’ select ‘Site permissions’
Under ‘PERMISSIONS’ ribbon, click ‘Grant Permissions’ button

Under ‘Users and Permissions’ section, select ‘People and groups’
Click ‘Groups’ from the left panel then click on ‘New’ button 2
