Career Exploration Day for 9th and 10th grade students Interested in learning more about current and emerging careers in Human Service and Healthcare fields. Wednesday, March 17, 2015 Finger Lakes Community College 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. FLCC Canandaigua Campus 3325 Marvin Sands Drive Canandaigua, NY 14424 Athletic Trainer Cardio Pulmonary Services Drug and Alcohol Rehab Laparoscopy Surgery Licensed Practical Nursing Diagnostic Imaging Professional Speakers with Live Demonstrations Chiropractor Pharmacist Nurse Educator-Diabetes Massage Therapy Developmental Disabilities Lab Work Physicians’ Assistant Certified Nursing Assistant Occupational Therapy Emergency Medical Technician Training Providers and Employers Finger Lakes Community College FF Thompson Health Finger Lakes Health Heritage Christian Services Keuka College Kinney Drugs Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing Ontario ARC Rochester Institute of Technology Seneca Nursing and Rehab Wayne County Nursing Home Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES

3 This year’s event saw 235 students from 20 school districts.

4 Information from 10 different exhibitors about training programs and career opportunities was made available to all in attendance.

5 Employers were on site to discuss current job openings.

6 Sixteen informational workshops.

7 And the “hands on” activities……
