2. Bunker Hill was the second and bloodiest battle in the Revolutionary War.
The battle ended when the militia men ran out of gunpowder.

3. For the British to control Boston, they had to control Breeds Hill and Bunker Hill.
The Patriots lost 400.

4. The British lost 1,000
The Patriots thought the battle as a win because if they had ammo they would have won.
At Bunker Hill the militia men tried to keep the hill to themselves.

5. The militia men made a dirt fort in Charlestown to over look Boston Harbor.
The Colonists shot rocks and nails when they ran out of ammo.
