Members to update urgently the WIGOS, WIS, OSCAR/Surface national focal points
OSCAR/Surface NFPs to review current situation (heritage from Volume A) and start new entries
Members to establish their new WIGOS ID systems
Rapporteur appointed to monitor regional aspects of OSCAR/Surface after WS (Lima, Peru)

5. PROCESS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF RA-III WRC
a) Initial proposal submitted by the Chair of WG-ITD to the President of RA-III and ICG-WIGOS-6
b) Proposal submitted to RA-III MG, for the review and endorsement
c) Proposal submitted to WG-ITD session in Asunción, Paraguay, in October 2017
d) WG-IDT reviewed, created a Task Team and designated its experts
e) TT-WIGOS-RA3 will submit a proposal to next RA-III with a process for selection of candidates for WRC
f) Members will be invited by the president of RA-III to submit their candidatures for RWC
g) TT-WIGOS-RA3 will analyze candidates for WRC and submit the proposal to RA-III MG for endorsement
h) The president of RA-III on behalf of RA III will establish WRC components with identified functions and responsibilities

 Corresponds to INMET´s surface station located in Brasilia as registered in OSCAR (from Volume A)

AS  Corresponds to a new INMET’s Automatic Weather Station located in the Federal District (Brasilia)
