5 How Reflectives Work Heat moves through a building via
radiation, conduction and convection. Reflectives “reflect” the radiant energy striking the surfaces of the building and are low “emitters.”

Convection is the circulation of hot or warm air As the air heats up, it becomes less dense, and rises. As it rises, the cool air is forced down to be warmed up by the heat source This is a continuous cycle

11 Radiant Heat Radiant heat consists of infrared waves.
The waves travel at the speed of light, in straight lines. The waves will go through, absorb into or be reflected from materials they intersect.
