Sandhills Chapter PO Box 71759 Fort Bragg, NC ISSUE September 26, 2011 President’s Message... HAPPY NEW YEAR !! Your efforts have been exceptional in this year’s Close-out! I'm glad to announce that we have found a great venue for our monthly meetings. Starting next month we will enjoy a spacious dining room in the Ft Bragg Club. The Club has recently implemented a new lunch program. It now offers an Expanded Lunch Buffet that includes 3 hot entrees, soup and salad bar, a sandwich bar with a Panini station, dessert and a drink for only $ Additionally, we have contracted with the Club to have water and iced tea available at a self-service drink station in our room upstairs in the Club. I'm excited to have a permanent location where we can conduct our meetings. I'm very pleased to announce that our Sandhills Chapter has finally received official tax exempt status. Ms Vicki Cooper has been tenacious with the IRS to file our packet and answer multiple follow-on questions. I understand that it has been about a 2-year process to receive the approval for the 501(c)3. Thanks, Vicki!
