Atmosphere: the feeling created by the physical setting, usually conveyed through colour, texture, line and lighting in a visual.
Focal Point: In a work of art, the centre of visual attention, often different from the physical centre of the work. The use of line is often the strongest element to add emphasis to a focal point, but size and placement are often very important also.
Mood: the overall feeling of the work, conveyed by the use of both visual elements and visual details.
Texture: defines the surface quality of an artwork - the roughness or smoothness of the material from which it is made.
