It was the first week of 4th grade and I already knew my English grade was doomed. It was that day that I began to hate writing. For me, writing is uncomfortable. It’s unrewarding, and it is frustrating. As you will see, writing is a loathsome experience for me.

Example: Writing makes me very uncomfortable. Writing makes me stressed which hurts my chest. One time on the OAA the writing question made me feel like I was having a heart attack. The ache in my writing hand also makes writing uncomfortable. After finishing my ELA homework last week, my hand was still so sore it hurt to unbend my fingers at football practice. Writing is also emotionally painful. I get very self-conscious when I have to share my writing. This illustrates how very unpleasant writing is for me. Although writing can hurt, it is not as frustrating as when I can’t get my ideas onto paper!
