Type of recognition will be determined by WCPSS (gold tassel? other item?)

18. Fee Waivers (p. 3)
If student is eligible, fee waivers are available for both SAT and ACT.
Eligibility form can be picked up in Student Services.
If waiver is used for SAT during senior year, student also qualifies for up to 4 college application fee waivers.

19. Wake Tech (Pgs. 3-4)
Earn an Associate Degree or Certificate or enter into their College Transfer Program
Accuplacer Test-Everyone must take for placement into classes. Certain ACT/SAT scores may waive the test; see counselor or contact Wake Tech for more details.
Remember to apply early to secure a spot! For Fall 2019, apply immediately after first semester.

Student (not the counselor) is responsible for sending the transcript electronically.
Please don’t wait until the application deadline to submit your request!
Some colleges may require students to upload a copy of their transcript.

Make sure the STUDENT completes the application (not the parent)
Ask multiple people (peers, parents, teachers) to review your application.

Some colleges may give preference to early applicants; check with your colleges of interest

Many college representatives visit CHS during lunch in the gym lobby. Stay informed!
