2. The Tongue

3. The Tongue
By long forbearance a ruler is persuaded, And a gentle tongue breaks a bone. Prov 25:15 (NKJV)
If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless. James 1:26 (NKJV)

4. The Ear
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Prov 4:20 (NKJV)
Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge; Prov 22:17 (NKJV)
Apply your heart to instruction, And your ears to words of knowledge. Prov 23:12 (NKJV)

5. The Ear
Then he read from it in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate from morning until midday, before the men and women and those who could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law. Neh 8:3 (NKJV)
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 2 Tim 4:3 (NKJV)

6. The Eyes
I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I gaze at a virgin? Job 31:1 (ESV)
Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor. Prov 22:9 (ESV)
I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? Psalms 121:1 (ESV)

7. The Eyes
The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, 23  but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! Matt 6:22-23 (ESV)
to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me. Acts 26:18 (NKJV)

8. The Feet
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:79 (KJV)
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:15 (KJV)
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Eph 6:15 (KJV)

9. The Feet

10. The Hands

The children of God are to be wholly devoted to following Him, in EVERY aspect of our lives!
Let us all seek and strive for the renewal of our minds, continually; devoting ourselves more fully to God.
We have looked at “5 Members of the Body” to impress upon our hearts the fact that God demands our all - physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 (NKJV)

There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ 1 Peter 3:21 (NKJV)
