Turn off half of all the lights you have turned on
Hart turns off lights and drops the thermostat during non-school hours to save energy
Call your energy company and get an audit – they may change the bulbs for free

3. Water Bottle Day - Tuesday April 23
Bring in a reusable water bottle instead of a plastic one
The average US household uses 349 gallons of water a day for a family of four
(5 min shower - 20 gallons, toothbrush - 2 gallons, washing machine - 40 gallons)

Hart donated uneaten food thru cleaning out the fridges before Spring break to Forgotten Harvest
Consider where your food is made or produced. Shop locally at the Rochester Farmers Market starting in April
Don’t waste food save it for those who really need it.
