2. HM Government Is the government of United Kingdom.
Executive authority nationally lies with the monarch but is exercised in practice by her ministers.
The government is led by the Prime Minister (he selects the other members of the government and their appointment is confirmed by the Queen).
The Prime Minister and the Cabinet (consisting of all the most senior government ministers) are collectively accountable for their policies and actions to the monarch and to Parliament.

Is a small group tasked to provide
electronics and software to support the
communication needs of the British Government.
HMGCC is responsible for research and design in the
following disciplines:
Radio frequency engineering
Signal processing
Software Engineering
Acoustics
Operating systems and so on.

The Scottish Government
The Welsh Assembly Government
The Northern Ireland Executive/Assembly

5. The Scottish Government
It is organised through 32 unitary authorities consisting of councillors elected every four years by registered voters in each of the council areas
Following the 2007 Scottish Parliament election, the Scottish Executive was rebranded as the Scottish Government by the new Scottish National Party administration
The SG has 129 members
It is able to make laws on a whole range of matters, including health and education

7. The Welsh Assembly
In may 2007, separation between the legislature (National Assembly of Wales) and the executive (Welsh Assembly Government) took affect under the Government of Wales Act 2006.
It has 60 members, directly elected
every four years.
It is responsible for functions previously
carried out by the Welsh Office.
It is also can amend laws passed at Westminster which affect devolved areas.

8. Northern Ireland Assembly
Northern Ireland received a clear endorsement as the Northern Ireland Assembly in 1998.
The executive consists of a First Minister and deputy First Minister (a diarchy) and various ministers with individual portfolios and remits.
The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland remains responsible for Northern Ireland matters not devolved to the Assembly.
