Depression and anxiety can often cause a person to feel emotionally overwhelmed and have unhelpful behaviours. It also creates problems in relationships.
It can be a helpless and lonely journey.
Through the “Finding ME”
programme, a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy treatment, adolescents will learn to cope with depression and anxiety using the skills such as:
Emotional regulation
Distress tolerance
Interpersonal effectiveness
Mindfulness
Who can join the programme?
Secondary school students
Students with depression, anxiety, self- harming behaviours or suicidal ideations
Individuals who are voluntary and motivated
Venue:
Learning Lab
NUH Medical Centre, Level 13

* Includes one screening session
* Each session is 2 hours

2. Through the “Finding Hope” programme for parents,
When your child has depression or anxiety, you may not know what to do or how to help. It can bring about frustration and helplessness. You are also faced with your child’s challenging behaviours that are difficult to manage.
Through the “Finding Hope” programme for parents,
you will be able to understand and manage your child by using the skills such as:
Understanding and managing your child’s anxiety, depression and self-harm behaviours
Communicating with your child
Managing personal emotions
Who can join?
Parents of adolescents who have depression, anxiety, and self-harm behaviours
Parents who are voluntary and motivated
Venue:
