Importance of reflecting on assessment practices and ensuring that we have a balance of Assessment For/As/Of tasks and understanding how the three types of assessment function together to support student success.
Assessment For Learning is used to monitor student’s progress towards achievement of curriculum expectations.
Assessment AS Learning is used by students to reflect on their own progress and next steps and provide feedback to peers.
Assessment OF Learning is used by the teacher to summarize learning at a given time.

6. What is Pedagogical Documentation?
Pedagogy is the understanding of how learning takes place and the philosophy and practice that supports that understanding of learning.” (How Does Learning Happen?, 2004, p. 16) •
“We define documentation as the practice of observing, recording, interpreting, and sharing through a variety of media the processes and products of learning in order to deepen and extend learning … These physical traces allow others to revisit, interpret, reinterpret, and even re-create an experience.” (Krechevsky, Mardell, Rivard, & Wilson, 2013, p. 74)

9. How Does Google Forms Support Assessment Practices?
Google Forms is a robust tool as we can use it in a variety of different ways, within every subject, at any level, to meet all three types of assessment; furthermore it enables us, as educators, to effectively utilize data to be, both efficient and proficient within our profession.
