vs. 7-10 Satan: The Accuser Brings charges against us
the past- what is already forgiven fabricates- “the father of lies” Condemns us (sentences us) Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus condemnation vs. conviction

vs. 7-10 Satan: The Accuser Leads us astray- affecting present & future distorting polluting confusing Truth vs. Lies (accusations) Turn to John 8:31-38, 43-44

vs. 11 No Grounds! No longer can Satan successfully accuse God’s people because Jesus has shed his blood covering our sins!

Romans 8:31-34 (NLT) 31 …If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

Satan accuses us; Jesus intercedes for us!
vs. 11 No Grounds! Satan accuses us; Jesus intercedes for us!

vs Eagles’ Wings Exodus 19:4 You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

vs Satan’s MOUTH The flood is not persecution but Satan’s attempt to flood the world with what comes out of his mouth! He fails to deceive the true Church which enrages Satan So, he makes war against ‘the rest of the woman’s offspring’, that is, against individual believers

vs. 11 We overcome him by: The blood of the Lamb (His work of righteousness) The word of our testimony (our delivered and transformed life) We do not choose our own lives any longer (slavery/mastery to sin)
