7 Aspire Academy Aspire Schools Cairns Hockey MAKING IT HAPPEN
Seeking to obtain funding to establish, develop and advance for 3 years the Aspire Academy Employment support to drive this Resource support to ensure transition into Grade 7 from remote communities and disadvantaged programs Cairns Hockey and Tropicana MOU support this Collaboration includes Aspire Programs Supports delivery and support across school and parents communities Aligns in strategic plans Financial support for grassroots programs Drives local leadership and regional pathway programs

BUDGETS ACADEMY – FACILITY SUPORT Training Rooms and Pitch Rental $15, per annum Partnership Cairns Hockey (Cairns Hockey contributed 50%) Mentoring AV/Training Room Fit Out $ Funding Mini Bus to and from Facility $35, CBF/other Resourcing Sport Specific $10, Just Hockey Aspire Schools As agreed annually through Education Qld REMOTE COMMUNITY MENTORING Mentors to community – travel costs per visit x 2 visits each year $ per annum Funding Identified Girls and Family to Cairns 10 per visit $ per annum Funding Resources – Leadership/ Employment Support $ 5, per annum BDO Nth Qld

Ab Study for each young girl in residence As per guidelines Ab Study Indigenous education and wellbeing support coordinator (skilled full time position which would be $130, per annum Funding transitioned to Education Qld as part of the plan MENTORING SUPPORT PROGRAMS Staffing a GM of this Program (shared with CHA) $ 80, Funding (CHA shares balance) Mentors – 2 trainees/ambassadors $ Funding Training and Support $ Funding Closing the Gap Financial Support Pathways for participants up to 40 participants @$ per participant $ 60, Funding COMMONWEALTH CLOSING THE GAP FUNDING $ per annum for 3 years

Min 120 indigenous young women and girls supported and mentored through secondary school (3 years) Delivering Learn Well, Live Well, Lead Well Program to disadvantaged indigenous young women and girls School and Mentor Support Program from remote communities into Cairns High Schools as part of Learn Well, Live Well Lead Well Program School and Mentor Support Program through the Academy into Cairns High Schools as part of the Learn Well, Live Well, Lead Well Program Delivery of a Grade 7 Mentor Support Program assist transition included in Learn Well, Live Well, Lead Well Delivery of Leadership and Hockey Excellence Programs supporting LEARN WELL, LIVE WELL, LEAD WELL PROGRAM Health and Well Being Support Programs – including mental health support Culturally appropriate programs Supporting Tropicana Lodge Residential Facility Collaboration and Partnerships with local schools and distance education Employment Opportunities as part of the program Over 3 years – opportunities for 120 indigenous young women and girls’ remote communities complete secondary education. Mentoring 60 local indigenous young women to become future leaders. Continue to drive participation, attendance, family support in both remote and regional areas with up to 1500 participants involved in all programs areas each year.

13 COST VALUE PROPOSITION
Aspire Program has proven ability to deliver outcomes in both remote communities and regional areas Aspire Program has proven ability to be recognized, respected and deliver identified funding outcomes across indigenous communities in these areas Aspire Program targets indigenous young women and girls – a focus group identified as highly disadvantaged Skilled staff able to deliver outcomes across the indigenous community Proven ability to manage budgets and understand strength in governance and strategic planning Strengthening and expanding collaborations despite limited promotion and awareness Empowering Program that has been able to create flexible programs that can meet the needs of multiple stakeholders in this space $300K per annum equates to $200 per participant (1500 participants annually) and the value add is the 120 young women and girls that are supported and mentored to complete school at no additional cost. On any calculation a very high percentage cost value proposition in the positive.
