8 Approximately 1/3 adults with CHD will struggle with significant levels of anxiety and depression
Anxiety is a very common emotion and on a daily basis we will all experience to varying degrees. I’m sure we’ve also had times in our lives when we have been particularly anxious about something that is happening in our lives or is about to happen which has caused us one or two sleepless nights. Hopefully, overall though the anxiety does not causes us too much distress and we are able to get on with our day to day lives.
