Thank you Parents, for retuning the Thursday Folders so promptly. We almost had 100% returned, so close!
Reading: We will finish reviewing reading comprehension strategies on Monday and our quiz will be Tuesday. Tuesday we will also start the story Akiak. It is a great story about the Iditarod Race in Alaska. We will get our fist spelling list and the test will be the Friday September 9th. We will also continue studying close reading, and learning symbols to help us take good notes.
Math: We will continue studying place value and numbers into the hundred thousands. The focus this week will be comparing, ordering numbers, and rounding. We will have a mid chapter test this Friday.
Art: Portraits and goals
Writing: We will be finishing our Proactive Paragraph, and starting our “When we grow up essays”.
