2. Cleopatra
She had to marry her brother, Ptolmey XIII, however he later died in the battle of Alexandria.
Cleopatra had to be-friend Ceasar, the Roman Emperor to take back Egypt from her brother.
Cleopatra, then had to marry Mark Atony to gain more power.
Cleopatra used Atony to kill her sister and many other innocent people.
Cleopatra wanted so much power, that when she realized that she couldn’t get any more power, she killed herself.

3. Hatshepsut She was born, and ruled in the 18th dynasty.
She married her half-brother, to keep the royal bloodline going.
When her father, Thutmose I died, her husband, Thutmose II, became king.
After having one daughter named Neferure, Thutmose II later died.
Hatshepsut dressed up as a male pharaoh, named Maatkare, after ruling beside her step-son Thutmose III.
She ruled as pharaoh that way for 20 years, then suddenly disappeared from the Egyptian records.

4. Ramesses II He ruled for 67 years, from 1290, to 1224 B.C.
He had 31 daughters and 79 sons.
He received his herem when he was eight, and he received his own troops to command in Nubia, when he was twelve.
He had the names erased on previous pharaoh’s, and had them replaced to his own name.
He built monuments and temples, in every major city in ancient Egypt.
His sculptures carved a gigantic temple in the sandstone cliff, in the town of Abu Simbel.
He is shown of a living God in the temple.

5. King Tut King Tut became pharaoh, when he was nine years old.
He died when he was nineteen years old.
Because Egypt was so wealthy at the time, he coffin was made out of pure Gold.
He was buried in the Valley of the Kings, and was found in 1922, by Howard Carter.
He most likely died, because of complications from a broken leg rather than been murdered, as many people think.
He was the first mummy to be CAT-scanned, which makes him one of the most famous pharaohs ever.

6. In the End
Later, Egypt was taken over by the Romans, with Cleopatra the last ruler of Egypt. We have learned many things today about pharaohs, but there are still secrets, that we have yet to discover.
