Fiscal pressures remain. Need to make argument to focus on value not just price.
Brexit will present opportunities. It is an accelerator. Regulations don’t currently drive the most commercial approach.

Safe to say there is a lot going on across the public sector.
The Government Hubs Programme will reduce the government estate from around 800 to 200 buildings by 2023.
The government’s Major Projects Portfolio includes 37 major Infrastructure and construction projects worth £200bn + e.g. HS2; Thames Tideway; new electricity infrastructure.
Transforming the landscape for NHS procurement through the FOM for NHS supply chain
Citizens more demanding of public services. Most frontline public service looking much more at customer experience. How citizens interact with their service. Becoming more sophisticated using Behavioural Insights.
No big surprises in the budget. Fiscal constraints mean that there will continue to be pressure on budgets.
And of course preparing for that small event Brexit…..
There is an enormous amount of transformation going on. Its not just nice to have – a lot of it is necessary.
