2. Dress and Grooming
The District’s dress code is reflective of community standards and is established to promote school appropriate attire, prevent disruption, and minimize safety hazards.

3. Clothing- Shorts/Skirts
Shorts and skirts must be at least mid-thigh
(Leggings worn under shorts, skirts, or tops do not alter this regulation)

5. Clothing- No Sag
No baggy/oversized pants that hang on or below the hip bone

6. Clothing- Tops
No low cut, see-through, spaghetti straps, backless dresses, or other revealing tops
Midriffs must be covered
No sleeveless shirts for boys

7. Clothing No tears or rips that are higher than the mid-thigh
Clothing must adequately cover the body
No tears or rips that are higher than the mid-thigh

8. Clothing
No clothing that is paramilitary, obscene, dangerous, occult or gang related; or that advertise sex, drugs, tobacco, or any product related to alcohol, tobacco, or drugs
No clothing with improper advertising, pictures, slogans, or statements

9. No pajamas or house shoes

10. Accessories- Hats
No sweat bands, bandannas, and hats/caps/hoods inside the building

11. Accessories- Piercings/ Jewelrey
No body piercing (other than earrings for girls)
Earrings are not acceptable for boys
No covering of unacceptable body piercing or earrings

12. Accessories- Tattoos No visible tattoos
Visible tattoos must be covered

13. Grooming- Hair Facial Hair Hair Should not cover the eyes
Color or styled in anyway that is distracting
Male students hair length should not extend below the bottom of a dress collar or top of a t-shirt
Male students must be clean shaven
Sideburn must not extend below the earlobe

16. Violation Be sent to an assistant principal
If a student’s grooming or clothing violates the school’s dress code policy student’s will
Be sent to an assistant principal
Be given an opportunity to correct the violation
If not corrected, students may be assigned ISS
