2 Fruits and Vegetables Tips:
-Choose fresh, frozen, canned or Dried fruits and veggies -Eat more red, orange, and dark Green veggies -Use fruits as snacks, salads, or Deserts -Keep raw, cut up veggies handy for quick snacks -choose whole or cut up fruits more often than juice

3 Switch to fat free or low fat milk
Make half your grains whole grains -Choose 100% whole grains, cereals, breads, crackers, rice and pasta -Check ingredients list on pkg to find whole grains Protein Choices -choose a variety-include seafood, beans, nuts, lean meats -keep meat and poultry portions small and lean -Try grilling, broiling, poaching, or roasting-methods That don’t have fat

4 Cutting back on solid fats, added sugars and salts
-Choose food and drinks with little or no added sugar -look out for salt (sodium) in foods bought Eat fewer foods that are high in solid fat
