A potential treatment strategy would involve the use of pharmaceutical medication also known as drug therapy, coupled with talk therapy to monitor the patient. The patient would be monitored closely following the aftermath of a psychotic episode and then once they show progress, the monitoring would be weaned down as well as potentially the drug therapeutic intervention.
