11 Business Casual Dress Guidelines
Because all casual clothing is not suitable for the office, these guidelines will help you determine what is appropriate to wear to work. Clothing that works well for the beach, yard work, dance clubs, exercise sessions, and sports contests is not be appropriate for a professional, casual appearance at work. Clothing that is too tight (small), reveals too much cleavage, your back, your chest, your stomach or your underwear is not appropriate for a place of business. In our work environment, clothing should be pressed and never wrinkled. Torn, dirty, or frayed clothing is unacceptable.

12 Business Casual Outfit For Women
This is a great example of a business casual outfit for women. A well-fitting, attractive blouse paired with slacks and a sweater and finished with conservative but stylish heels still conveys the idea of business casual, without compromising professionalism. Her blouse and sweater are modest and sets a professional tone for the office. It does not have a plunging neckline, does not reveal her midriff, and does not contain words, slogans, or pictures that could offend her co-workers. Her woman's pants look nice without being too form-fitting, and they aren't too casual like denim, spandex, or sweatpants might be.

13 Business Casual Options for Men
Business Casual Outfit for Men These are business casual options for men. These options still uphold a professional image, but are successful at being a more relaxed outfit without looking like everyday street wear. A dress shirt and tie still looks nice, for example, but a full suit isn't necessary in a business casual environment.

14 Which shoes are appropriate for a business environment?
In a business casual office, loafers, clogs, leather boat shoes, and dress heels are acceptable. In warm weather, stockings aren't necessary for women. However, athletic shoes and sneakers, flip flops, slippers, and some sandals and open-toed shoes are not appropriate for the workplace. Also, if you are a fan of footwear that is flashy and eye-catching, they should be worn on the street - not in the office.
