Funding - something super important to CBOs to support work; currently at CCC we are able to partly fund 3 different positions in our BEC: Program Director, Program Manager, Program Coordinator/case worker
Professional Development – access to subject matter experts at NCOA, annual conference, bimonthly conference calls
- peers: learning from what other BECs are doing, how they are handling barriers, etc ex: speaking with BEC in Ohio about how they are addressing fears around public charge.
Tools –
Technical Assistance - quarterly call with NCOA staff to get support on anything BEC may need, connecting with resources, etc
Advocacy – tools and support to properly educate and influence policy affecting benefits
