Project Instructions Read articles Write summary or bullets on your chosen format Write bibliography Write introduction Include illustrations Revise your work

2 RULES FOR PARTNERS 1 PROJECT: 2 STUDENTS
Each student is responsible for his or her own work. This means that one person will be in charge of doing his or her own slides. This is an individual project. This means that you do not need to sit together. There should be a minimum of 10 slides- 2 intro., 7 evidence, 1 bibliography. That means 5 slides per person Be fair. Divide the work as equally as possible between the two of you. Decide who is doing what and write it down on division of labor sheet. When both of you are done, you will combine the work into one PPT. Make sure you each make a copy of project!

3 Parts Deadlines November 18th: First article bullets/summary due
November 22nd: Second article bullets/summary & revision December 6th : Third article bullets/summary & revision December 13th : Illustrations, introduction, & sources December 20th :Last day (3 min. presentations 12/20 & 1/6

STEP 1. Read and re-read one article until you can explain it in your own words. STEP 2. Write 4 to 5 major important points in your own words in bullet form. Use two to three slides. Remember that you need to leave space on each slide for one visual- illustration, graph or map. STEP 3. Write one summary sentence in your own words using the bullets from step 2. Do the same with the other two articles until all 3 article slides are done.

STEP 1. Read and re-read one article until you can explain it in your own words. STEP 2. Write 4 to 5 major important points in your own words in bullet form per article. For now use regular size paper. Go over your writing. Once you are happy with the information and grammar, rewrite it on a small piece of paper. Remember that you need to leave space on poster for the other information and the 4-5 visuals. Do not glue anything yet! Use a little of tape for now so that later you can move things around. Do the same with the other two articles until all 3 article slides are done.

STEP 1. Read and re-read one article until you can explain most of it in your own words clearly. STEP 2. Write in word one or two paragraphs in your own words without looking at article. Do the same with the other two articles until all 3 article slides are done.

7 Instructions for introduction and bibliography
